Personal & Professional Au Pair & Nanny Agency

The duties and guidelines for an Au Pair Plus are the same as those for an au pair, however they will be prepared to work for up to 35 hours per week

As with au pair, the au pair plus is an extra pair of hands for a busy household and should be treated as part of the family, not an employee.

Duties include child care and light housework such as vacuuming, ironing, washing, washing-up and assistance with child care. An Au Pair can take and collect children from school, play and supervise them.

According to Working Time Regulations BAPAA recommends that the UK basic holiday allowance of 28 days per annum should apply or 1.66 days per month pro-rata if the placement is shorter than a year. This can include public and bank holidays.

Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan have signed up to the Tier 5 on the Youth Mobility Scheme and will need to apply for visas.
